Tempo Run:
2 x 10 minutes running at tempo pace, with 2 minutes walking rest between efforts. Tempo pace is “fast but relaxed”–just below the red zone. You should be uncomfortable and not able to talk, but the effort should be easier than our “lung searing” long interval workouts.
